Hunt, D. Trinidad
In 1998 Trinidad co-founded the World Youth Network International a non-profit organization delivering leadership training, character education and anti-bullying programs to youth. Their curriculum is being taught in over 300 schools throughout Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, Australia and the United States. Trin’s book, “Learning to Learn: Maximizing Your Performance Potential”, was named “Book of the Year” by the North American Book Dealers Exchange and went on to become a national bestseller. It is also used by various accelerated learning courses as well as being used as a text in various universities and community colleges. “The Operator’s Manual for Planet Earth ‘ An Adventure for the Soul” was published in 1996 by Hyperion, the adult division for Disney, and went on to become “Book of the Month” Club selection. Her newest book, Roadmap to Success with Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard, was released in December 2008 and is showing to be an immediate success. Trinidad has trained thousands of people in companies such as Pepsi Cola, Frito Lay and Sprint. Trinidad’s message has been heard across America via her own radio talk show on the East Coast, “Drawing outside the Lines, Becoming a 21st Century Change-maker”. As a result of her expertise in business and leadership, Trin was invited to The People’s Republic of China in 1996 and to India in 1997. In 2000, she was a keynote speaker at the Pan-Pacific Southeast Asia Women’s Association’s annual conference in the Cook Islands with delegates from 23 countries.
